Palki Motors’ 4th Ramadan!
Just like that, it’s been three years since I started working at Palki Motors. I can’t believe how fast the time has gone by!
First Ramadan, 2022: The idea of Palki finally settled in my mind. I ordered parts for the first car. I was a one-man army—no workshop, no team. I stored some parts in my uncle’s office garage in Uttara. That’s where I slowly started building the car by myself.
Second Ramadan, 2023: I built Cityboy Version-1. Showing that car got me 16 orders. We moved from a small 300 sq ft shop to a much bigger 8000 sq ft workshop. The team grew to 7 people. Step by step, we kept moving forward. We set a record by delivering 20 cars in 34 days. During this time, we also designed and built Bangladesh’s first pickup truck. We delivered many cars that year.
Third Ramadan, 2024: The team grew to 14 members. We kept improving the car based on a lot of customer feedback. Both the pickup and the Cityboy got better. We built the prototype of Cityboy Version-3. Our design and manufacturing process continued to improve as we upgraded the car.
Fourth Ramadan, 2025: Thanks to funding and grants, we overcame our financial crisis. Cityboy Version-3 and Pickup ReVolt Version-3 are now production-ready, with complete design and manufacturing processes. Now it’s time to win customers’ hearts and make the business sustainable. Before next Ramadan, you won’t have to wait after placing an order—we plan to deliver 30 cars every month, InshaAllah, with our strong team of 33 people and their dedication.
